(17059) Elvis

Discovered from the observatory of Reedy Creek to the Queensland, in Australia, the Astéroïde (17059) Elvis was named in the honor of Elvis Aaron Presley (1935 - 1977), American singer known like the “king of Rock' N Roll”. The asteroid (17058) Rocknroll (1999 GA5) was also discovered by John Broughton, two days before.
