' s-Graveland is a city in the commune of Wijdemeren, pertaining to the province Dutchwoman of the Holland-Septentrional .
The statistical district including/understanding the city and the surroundings has a population of 1 180 inhabitants (2005).
Before January 1st 2002, 's-Graveland was an independent commune. On this date the old communes of Nederhorst den Berg, Loosdrecht and 's-Graveland amalgamated to create Wijdemeren .
“s-Graveland is known by its Buitenplaats in , large residences of the middle-class of Amsterdam. Most known are Trompenburgh , built by the Admiral Cornelis Tromp, and Schaep in Burgh , seat of the Vereniging Natuurmonumenten , the largest company of Nature conservation Dutchwoman.
