Construction of the months

One uses a Chiffre (see , , , , , , , , , ) followed by this kanji, the whole entirely in reading ONE like this:

  • (イチガツ) = January

  • (ニガツ) = February
  • (サンガツ) = March
  • (シガツ) = April
  • (ゴがつ) = May
  • (ロクガツ) = June
  • (シチガツ) = July
  • (ハチガツ) = August
  • (クガツ) = September
  • (ジュウガツ) = October
  • (ジュウイチガツ) = November
  • (ジュウニガツ) = December

Days of the week

  • (げつようび) means Monday (or day of the moon), to consult and Jours of the week in Japanese for the other days of the week
