… And all my sympathy are a Romance of Francoise Sagan, published in 1993. It is about one following the novel With my best memory . Collection of memories, meetings, feelings, one crosses there Ava Gardner, Catherine Deneuve or Mikhaïl Gorbatchev, a text on Cajarc, the native village of Sagan, one on the laughter, one finds a letter of rupture there.
The title is inspired by a boob of the novelist who, at the time of its first voyage to the the United States, dedicated her books with the mention “with all my sympathies”, False-friend English which, into French, would result in “with all my condolences”.
Many criticisms considered these two books - With my best memory , … And all my sympathy - as the best of Sagan.
