Ž , the letter Z diacritée of a Hatchek, is a letter used in the alphabets Croatian Bosnien, , Estonian, Finnish, Latvian, Lituanien, same, Slovaque, Slovenien, Czech and turkmene.

Linguistics

In presques all the languages which use it, “ž” is used to transcribe the sound {{APIb|[ʒ]}}. In turkmene, it represents the sound {{APIb|[ʤ]}}.

It is also present in some Translittération S of the alphabets Bulgare, Macedonian and Serbe, the equivalent of the letter Ж of the Cyrillic alphabet.
