Ōta (大田区, Ōta-ku ) is one of the 23 district special (区, ku ) formant Tōkyō, with the Japan. The district was founded on March 15th 1947 by the fusion of the districts of Ōmori and Kamata. The population of the district is of 675.614 inhabitants for a surface of 59.46 km ² (2005).

The international airport of Tōkyō Haneda is located in the district of Ōta.
