Ōjin

The emperor Ōjin (応神天皇, Ōjin Tennō ) is the fifteenth emperor Japan to be appeared on traditional the list of the emperors. No unquestionable date can be assigned for the reign of this Empereur, but it seems that he reigned on the country during the beginning of the 5th century. The tradition however allots to him dates of life of 210 with 310 and locates its reign starting from 270, although none of these dates has real base.

He is the first historical emperor of Japan, his predecessors being now regarded as pertaining to the legend of the country. Itself was déïfié like Hachiman Daimyōjin, guard of the warriors and the clan Minamoto made of it his '' kami '' protective.

According to the Kojiki and the Nihonshoki , Ōjin was the fourth wire of the emperor Chūai and his wife Jingū. Chūai having died before the birth of his/her son, Jingū becomes regent and control the country. It is born in 210 with Tsukushi with the return from his mother from the invasion from the Korea and is named prince Hondawake. His/her mother remains regent and it succeeds to him only in 270. During its reign, immigrants of Chinese origin come by the Korean peninsula, such as Wani in which the family is originating in the Chinese commandery of Lelang, and the prince Yuzuki No Kimi going down from the Chinese dynasty of the Qin, come to settle in Japan. Ōjin, which sends Takenouchi No Sukune to the conquest of Kyūshū, lives in two palates with Ōsaka and one allots the to him Kofun of Hakibino, close to Osaka, for tomb.

Certain historians compare it to the one of the “five kings of Wa”.
