Łomża

Łomża ( Lomza without the diacritic ones) is a city of the east of Poland, located in the Voïvodie de Podlachie. According to the statistics of 2004, the city has a population of 63.700 inhabitants what makes of it the 2nd more big city of Podlasie, after Białystok.

The city was the chief town of the Voïvodie of Łomża between 1975 and 1998.

On the ground of the city are located two important schools, Wyższa Szkoła Agrobiznesu (High food business school) like Wyższa Szkoła Zarządzania I Przedsiębiorczości im. B. Jańskiego (High School of Administration and Management of B. Jański).
