Đura Jakšić

Đura Jakšić , into Serb Cyrillic ЂураЈакшић (born with Srpska Crnja the July 27th 1832 - died with Belgrade the November 16th 1878), was a writer, Poète and painter Serbe.

Đura Jakšić begins its studies with Timişoara (today in Romania) and with Szeged (today in Hungary). Đura Jakšić studied the Art schools with Vienna and Munich.

Jakšić is one of the principal representatives of the Serb romanticism, in literature as in painting.

He wrote approximately forty news or novels (of which the Warriors ). He also wrote three plays: Stanoje Glavaš , Seoba Srbalja , Jelisaveta .
