Đại Việt
The Đại Việt (“Large Việt”), called Đại Cồ Việt of 968 with 1054, is an old kingdom of Asia, ancestor of the Vietnam.
It is created in 968 by Đinh Bô Linh, first emperor of the Dynastie of Đinh, in the area of the Red Fleuve. Until the 15th century, Đại Việt coexists with the Royaume of Champâ, in the South. In 1400, Ho Quy Ly changes the name of the country into Đại Ngu . In 1428, Lợi renames the country Đại Việt, name which will be preserved until in 1802, date on which Nguyễn Ánh proclaims emperor, takes the name of Long Gia and unifies the country under the name of Vietnam.
