ČEZ

ČEZ is a producer and distributer of electricity which occupies a dominant position in Tchéquie. The company is controlled by the Czech State.
History
ČEZ is born in 1992 from the transformation from the State enterprise České energetické závody (Undertaken Czech energy). During the Nineties, the park of the powerplants gradually is modernized and extended. A moment-key for the company was the completion of the Nuclear plant of Temelín. In 2003, ČEZ repurchased the majority of the regional companies of distribution of electricity, thus forming Group ČEZ and giving him a monopoly quasi-total.
Criticisms
In 2005, ČEZ released from the benefit records, becoming thus the Czech company most advantageous.
