Þórarinn Eldjárn (Thorarinn Eldjarn) is a writer Icelandic born in 1949. He studied with the Université of Lund and the Háskóli Íslands. He wrote poems, Récit S and novels and translated books into Icelandic like Alice with the country of the wonders.
Its most famous book, Brotahöfuð (translated into French under the title Head in crumbs ) was nominated with IMPAC Dublin Literary Award in 2001.
