Üter is one of the fictitious characters of the series Simpson .
Üter is student Bavarian taking part in an international exchange with the elementary school of Springfield. It has some strange practices like that to offer a lollipop already licked as a sign of friendship or to eat almond paste strengthened with iodine. In the German version of the series, Üter is student international Switzerland. In addition, its frequent references to the chocolate would rather indicate a Swiss origin than German. Üter had disappeared from the series for enough a long period. An allusion to this disappearance had even been made when the principal Skinner questions the parents of Üter in connection with the disappearance of this last.
At the time of season 8, for the special episode Halloween, Üter is cut out and transformed into sausage because of the budgetary restrictions of the canteen of the elementary school of Springfield. Üter however always forms part of the series, because the episodes special Halloween refer to parallel stories not taking place really.
