Öwezgeldi Ataýew
Öwezgeldi Ataýew (often quoted in the Western mediums by its Russianized name: ОвезгелдыАтаев Ovezgeldy Atayev ) is a politician turkmene, born in 1951.
President of the Parliament, it would have had according to the Constitution turkmene being named president by interim after the death of the president Saparmyrat Nyýazow the December 21st 2006. But justice opened an investigation into its possible criminal activities. Öwezgeldi Ataýew thus saw its taking of blocked and the Safety advice named the vice-president of the Council of Ministers and Minister for Health, Education and Sciences Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedow president by interim.
The December 26th 2006, it is dislocated of its functions by the president by interim and replaced by the vice-president of the Parliament Akja Nurberdiýewa. It is supposed guilty abuse of authority and control immoral.
