Ézéchiel ( יְחֶזְקֵאל ) is a Prophète Tanakh and Old Testament (approx. VIe front century JC). One allots to him the homonymous book, the third in the canonical order of the " Large Prophètes" (Isaïe, Jérémie, Ézéchiel), in opposition to the " Small Prophètes" (Amos, Joel, Nahum, Habacuc, Sophonie, Jonas, Michée, Dared etc).
The tradition retains that its tomb would be located in a village of the surroundings of the Iraqi city of Hilla.
