Équatif

The équatif is a Cas expressing the comparison, the assimilation or the identity. Sometimes it is also called comparative .

Examples

In Ossète, the équatif one is marked by the termination - ау (pron. ):

фæт - arrow, фæтау - as an arrow.
Ницыфенæгауйæхиакодта - litt. Nothing indicator-like oneself made (“or she pretended anything to see”)

In Quechua, one uses the suffix - naw (central alternatives) or - hina (peripheral alternatives):

khuchi-hina-n mikhu-n - he eats like a pig.
