Épron
Épron is a common French, located in the department of the Calvados and the area Basse-Normandie. The inhabitants are Épronnaises and Épronnais.
Geography
Épron is located in the northern suburbs of Caen at 5km of the city. It belongs to the Communauté of Caen agglomeration the Sea.
History
Épron is called the village of the radio because its rebuilding after the war was sponsored by the French Radiodiffusion, in November 1948.

Events
Each year is organized the fair with the attics of Épron, one of most important of the north of Caen, in the court of the hearth of the Robert Father and in the streets neighborhood. In 2005, a series in concerts of local groups (Utopia…) " is called; Épr' one The Rock".
