Épistolier (literature)
The épistolier or the épistolière is an author whose Correspondance has a proven literary value (if the letters are fictitious, one will speak about epistolary Roman). This aspect of the literature is particularly marked as from the 17th century century, in concomitance with the development of the sociology of Article.
