Épipoles
Épipoles (in Greek αἰ Ἐπιπολὰι , which means districts above the city) is a district of Syracuse located on the heights of the city. The site is composed of several hills, which explains plural. It was one of the major places of the Peloponnesian War. where the Athenians had gathered their forces.
