Énide is, in the Cycle arthurien, the amante of Érec, knight of the Roundtable. They are the both heroes of the book which bears their name, Érec and Énide .

Enid is also the character of a tale Welsh, Gereint ac Enid , one of the three lovesongs ( Y Tair Rhamant ), usually published with the Mabinogion , since their translation in English by Lady Charlotte Guest.
