Émilien
Émilien ( Marcus Aemilius Aemilianus ) was Roman Emperor from April at August 253.
Émilien had succeeded Trébonien Galle in the load of governor of Mésie. In 253, Goths were agitated. Successes of Émilien against its last led its soldiers to acclaim it emperor.
Publius Licinius Valerianus is charged by Trébonien with repressing this usurpation, however this last proclaims itself emperor before reaching the Messiah.
In the combat which follow Trébonien is the eliminated first but Émilien is not long in being killed.
