Marriage and children

No contemporary document mentions the name of its wives, and it is by the difference in age of his/her children that one could deduct two from them.

Of a first wife, girl of Sanche Ier Wolf, duke of Gascogne, it would have had:

  • Arnaud, duke of Gascogne in 864

Widower, it would have remarié himself with a robertienne, girl of Eudes I {{er}}, count de Troyes, and of Wandilmodis, and would have had:

  • Adémar († 926), count de Poitiers, then of Angouleme and Périgeux
  • Adalelme († 894) count de Troyes
