Élie Destrez

Élie Destrez , Born with Doumely on February 22nd, 1835, deceased with Rubigny on January 6th, 1890.

Doctor and mayor of Fraillicourt (the Ardennes), Élie Destrez, after having been internal with the Hospital, had been received officer of health to Rheims in 1860. It belonged to this phalange of modest experts, who, after having drawn from the hospitals a solid professional instruction, deliver themselves to the tiring and not very remunerative exercise of the medicine of countryside. Destrez had been internal of Landouzy; i1 wrote and published a lesson on the sporadic pellagra, one of the first work of the Master on this question which it had taken so in heart.
