Égades islands

The Islands Égades or Îles Égates are located at the west of the Sicily. This small archipelago is composed of three principal islands, Levanzo, Marettimo and Favignana. From the geological point of view the islands Egades are closely related to Sicily. Administratively these islands belong to the province of Trapani. Place of a victory of the Romans on the Carthaginians in 241 av. J. - C..
