Édika

Édika , of its true not Edouard Karali , is a Dessinateur French of humorous cartoons, born the December 17th 1940 with Héliopolis, in Egypt.

Biography

He worked first of all in publicity, in Egypt, and moved in France when its first drawings were published in Pilote, Charlie Mensuel and Psikopat (the magazine of his/her brother, Paul known as Carali, which is also draftsman).
He is mainly known for his many contributions to the magazine Icy Fluide.

Master of humor nonsense, his stories oscillate between the soft madness and the furious madness, with a good amount of Scatologie and sex. They are also frequently characterized by a voluntary absence of fall, the incapacity supposed of Édika to find a fall satisfactory being itself pretexts with gags.

Édika likes to put itself in scene in its stories, in the form of Bronsky Proko and its family (its Olga wife, its son (Paga) nini and its Georges daughter). Its cat, famous Clark Gaybeul (in reference to Clark Gable), is also an extremely recurring character. This last carries all the time slipways of mark " Large Barque" , in reference to a famous mark of underclothing, Small Boat.
