Écocitoyenneté

The word écocitoyenneté (or " éco-citoyenneté") is built on the assembly of the abbreviation of " éco" for ecology and word Citizenship. The éco-citizenship is aware to belong to a Territoire (Ground, Continent, or Pays according to the scale) which guarantees its existence, which implies for him rights and duties compared to the Environnement. For example: right to enjoy an healthy environment and the duty not to pollute it to preserve this healthy environment.

Each écocitoyen has the means of ensuring a Sustainable development by its daily actions or of defending of it the idea near the authorities (vote, petitions… etc). I.e. a development which meets the needs for the present without compromising those of the future generations, which preserves the human life and the ecosystem S, because one and the other is closely dependant.
