Éco-sphere (science)
A éco-sphere is a small sphere of glass which reproduces the life cycle on ground. This object of decoration is the fruit of research of NASA. The men at the origin of this research are Dr. Joe Hanson and Dr. Clair Folsome. NASA was interested in this project for two reasons:
- the program " Mission of NASA for the Terre" planet; who studies the biosphere of our sphere.
- This project could bring elements for research which make NASA in connection with the biological systems necessary for the creation of the space stations.
In a eco-sphere one finds:
- Of the shrimps (selected species because nonaggressive)
- Of filtered sea water
- Of the algae
- Of the gorgones
- And the stones
All this is necessary to make live the éco-sphere.
