In the Greek Mythology, Éétès , Aiétès or Æétès (in Greek old Αἰήτης / Aiếtês ) is the son of Hélios (Sun) and of the Océanide Persé. He is also the brother of Circé (considered like his/her daughter in certain traditions) and of Pasiphaé.

Reigning on the Colchide (country located at the limit of the the Caucasus), it accommodates there Phrixos which brings the to him Golden Fleece. When later the Argonautes arrive in Colchide, he promises to them celebrates it trophy provided that Jason triumph of the tests that he prescribes to him. Jason reaches that point but, infidel with his promise, Éétès refuse to give the Fleece to him. Jason uses then of the force to conquer it and, with Médée, the girl of Éétès, flees by carrying it. Éétès leaves in vain to its continuation.
