Ægidius Ziervgel
Ægidius Ziervgel is a Pharmacien and Naturaliste Swedish, born the March 28th 1697 with Stockholm and dead the July 28th 1741 in this same city.
He is military pharmacist and is made prisoner at the time of the war of Poltava in Russia in 1709 where he is retained during several years.
It Marie with Margareta Elisabeth Ribe (1709-1743). From this union will be born Friedrich (1727-1792), also pharmacist and naturalist, Ewald Benedictus (1728-1765), Samuel " Frederik" (1730-1797) and Ulrica Eleonora (1732-1803).
Ziervgel starts the constitution of a collection of Natural history which will be continued by his/her son, Friedrich, and data, in 1783, in Kungliga Vetenskaps-Societeten (royal Company of sciences) before being transferred, in 1858, with the Université of Uppsala.
