The Ägyptisches Museum und Papyrussammlung of Berlin contains one of the most important collection of ancient Egypt of the world.
It was created in 1828 pennies the reign of Frederic-Guillaume {{III}} of Prussia. Between a 1842 and 1845 Prussian forwarding working in Egypt receives 1.500 parts of Muḩammad `Alī. The most interesting parts were brought back excavations of Such el-Amarna between 1911 and 1914.
The most famous part is the bust of the queen Néfertiti, the wife of Akhénaton.
