Cohen the Barbarian , character of the Disc-world of Terry Pratchett, is the hardly buckled parody of Conan the barbarian.
Like all the heroes of the Disc-world, the life of Cohen is only combat, rescues of virgins and plunderings of temples. Cohen is the most famous hero of the Disc, its exploits are told besides with the children since generations. What explains why in Annals of the Disc-World, Cohen appears to us for the first time, in the Eighth Magic spell , like an old man bald person, toothless, one-eyed, maigrelet and bearded to the knees.
Attention, old does not mean weak as the adventurers thought it who wanted to have a name by beating Cohen. Indeed, old means “Still alive in spite of the imprudent ones which thought that old meant weak ”, which is not the same thing.
In Sourcellerie , one learns that Cohen would be the author of In seven days seuylement I fays of you a hero barbayre! but Planteur J.M.T.L.G would not be completely innocent in this history.
With its assistants of the Horde of Money , he became the emperor Gengis Cohen of the Empire Agathéen in the Tribulations of a magus in Aurient , before going, in the Last Hero , to defy the gods at the time of their last combat.
